Samuel Matthews fonds. 1878-1883.

The fonds consists of a notebook compiled by Matthews containing the following: 1. Minutes, 1878-1879, of the Richmond Branch of the Aylmer Blue Ribbon Club, whose members were temperance advocates. The minutes of 30 September 1878 note that 236 people had signed the pledge -- 2. Day book, containing financial account, 1879-1882 -- 3. Farm contracts, 4 April 1882-5 April 1883 -- 4. List of stock bought, April-August 1883 -- 5. Other financial accounts, 1883-1884.
